Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AICAD-X ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is provided by Andrew Elcome ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of Service

AICAD-X is a cloud-based, AI-native CAD platform for mechanical engineering design. The Service includes a web-based 3D design interface, REST API, AI design assistant, domain-specific engineering solvers, and AR/XR capabilities.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to designs and content you create using AICAD-X. We do not claim ownership of your designs. The AICAD-X software, including its source code, algorithms, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Andrew Elcome and is protected by copyright.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• • Use the Service to design weapons, explosives, or items intended to cause harm
• • Attempt to bypass safety envelope restrictions or content filters
• • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• • Use the Service to infringe on third-party intellectual property
• • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized access
• • Exceed rate limits or abuse the API

6. Subscription & Payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Prices are listed on the Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial subscription.

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We encrypt all data at rest and in transit. Your designs are not used for AI training.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

AICAD-X is provided "as is". We are not liable for engineering decisions made using the Service. Users are responsible for validating designs against applicable safety standards and regulations before manufacturing.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, you may export your designs. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination, after which it will be permanently deleted.
